Board Members Robert & Margaret Patricelli Receive High Medal from Wesleyan University
Robert and Margaret Patricelli are among the Hartford area’s leading citizens, and Shining Hope is blessed to have such incredible support from these amazing individuals. Their philanthropic and service activities have ranged from the arts to a science museum; from hospitals and educational institutions to programs that assist low-income neighborhoods. Bob and Margaret are longstanding supporters of Shining Hope for Communities, and have both served as board members since its incorporation. Margaret is currently Chair of the Board, and we cannot be more proud of her and Bob for receiving the distinguished Baldwin Medal from Wesleyan University last week.
Wesleyan President Michael Roth awarded Bob and Margaret with the Baldwin Medal during commencement ceremonies on May 22nd, 2011. The Baldwin Medal is the highest award bestowed by the Wesleyan Alumni Association, and is presented for extraordinary service to Wesleyan or for careers and other activities which have contributed significantly to the public good. The award pays tribute to the late Judge Raymond E. Baldwin ’16, who was the only man to have held the offices of Connecticut governor, U.S. senator and chief justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court.

All of us at Shining Hope send our warmest congratulations to Bob & Margaret!
